IllustrationFriday's word "Talisman". After I finished this piece it was hard not to stare at it forever. Ever have that realization "I painted that?!". Ya, this was one of those pieces. I, personally, love it for the color and depth, and the wee merchild. Is it the best illo ever?!!? No, not by a long shot, but special to me. :) awww.
